4 Week Intensive Water-Safety Workshops for Beginner Adults

This workshop offers a golden opportunity for complete beginners to transform apprehension into confidence, and learn necessary skills to become safer, more comfortable and more competent in water.

  • Feel safe and supported in the water
  • Build confidence step by step
  • Learn breathing, floating, and basic movement skills
  • Develop foundations for safe, consistent swimming
  • 2 × 30-minute coached sessions per week
  • 4 weeks (8 classes total)
  • Supportive, no-pressure environment
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Class times:  Tuesdays & Thursdays at 18:00

Adult Swim Membership

Designed for adults who already have basic water confidence, and want ongoing, coached sessions. The perfect follow-up to our 4 Week Workshop!

You should be comfortable:

• Putting your face in the water 
• Floating on your front and back
• Performing some kind of basic independent movement through the pool 
• Entering and exiting the pool safely

If you’re not quite there yet, the 4-Week Beginner Workshop is the best place to start.

Sessions take place in our 10-metre pool, making training technique-focused rather than lap-based.

  • Weekly 30-minute coached swim classes
  • Choice of 1× or 2× sessions per week
  • Ongoing skill development and confidence building
  • Fixed weekly time slots (select from the schedule below)
  • Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday: 7:00 | 12:30 | 17:30
  • Saturday: 9:30

HOW MEMBERSHIP PRICING WORKS

Once-off registration fee: R280

Option A – 1× class per week
•Approx. 2–5 lessons per month
R700 per month

Option B – 2× classes per week
• Approx. 4–10 lessons per month
• R1257 per month (10% discount applied)

ONE ON ONE

**Our membership is designed around consistent progress rather than a fixed number of sessions per month. Lesson numbers vary as we align with both the national school calendar and the swimming season, ensuring continuity, quality coaching, and long-term development. We invoice year-round apart from July when we are closed for the winter – please refer to our 2026 calendar on the final page for details.
